This Tumblr is primarily a feed of my work for The Fly, where I am a staff writer, Drowned In Sound and The 405. My day job is as a reporter for the Dewsbury Reporter and Mirfield Reporter.

I have previously worked for Exposed and The Star in Sheffield, and at the Edinburgh Festivals for ThreeWeeks. As a student I was arts editor of Forge Press.

Dum Dum Girls @ Tramlines, Sheffield, 25/7/2010 for Exposed

Singer/songwriter Dee Dee Penny struts viciously across the stage, jutting her neck out like a threat to the crowd. Liking an indie guitar band has not felt this dangerous in a very long time.
