This Tumblr is primarily a feed of my work for The Fly, where I am a staff writer, Drowned In Sound and The 405. My day job is as a reporter for the Dewsbury Reporter and Mirfield Reporter.

I have previously worked for Exposed and The Star in Sheffield, and at the Edinburgh Festivals for ThreeWeeks. As a student I was arts editor of Forge Press.

Mabel Love interview for Exposed, April 2011

If nothing else, Mabel Love will have their local knowledge of the volatile Sheffield crowds to rely on in June. It’s more than can be said for some, as Rice can testify: “I was speaking to the other lads that are coming up, The Vaccines, and they’re cacking themselves.”
